The game's rules
The game of cricket has two rounds during which all players of both teams (composed of 11 members) must succeed as drummer in defense of the wickets. The designated drummer is the only one of his team on the field, surrounded by the players of the opposing team who must strive to catch on the fly the ball that the drummer has hit.
Chester Cricket realizes that he is no longer happy in New York and wants to return to his home in Connecticut. Chester plays one last show for the people of New York and that night he is able to have some time alone with Mario, dine and play some games. When Mario falls asleep, Chester leaves the kiosk to meet Tucker Mouse and Harry Cat. The three of them travel to the train that will take Chester back home to the field. After saying his farewells and seeing the train and his cricket friend disappear, the mouse and the cat return to his drain, so sad that his friend has left.
